Our story

Named after Maryland’s scenic Patuxent River, Patuxent Capital Consulting was founded to offer advisory services for wealth management and goal-based investing.

Its foundation was inspired by banker George S. Clason, who in the 1920s grew tired of watching clients use money unwisely. He wrote a series of parables—now collected in the book "The Richest Man in Babylon"—explaining the lasting principles of growing wealth.

Today, Patuxent Capital Consulting's exclusively-selected clients in North America, Europe and Asia range from professionals and entrepreneurs to missionaries and students.

Instead of merely instructing our clients what to do, we help clients learn their own best options for managing wealth, whether it's a portfolio of less than $1,000 or more than $1 million.

We work from the premise, "Money doesn't buy happiness, but it does offer more options." We then help clients learn how to expand their options and, potentially, their own life goals.

Just as the Patuxent River flows to the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, let our timeless wealth-management advisory principles carry you to beautiful destinations and inspiring new horizons.

Note: Patuxent Capital Consulting does not accept compensation for its services.
